Designed to be portable, exceptionally durable, and simple to operate and maintain, the Bosch CET4-20 Four-Gallon, Two-HP Twin-Angled Tank Air Compressor withstands heavy-duty job conditions. Ideal for a range of carpentry, trim, framing, and roofing jobs, it helps minimize user fatigue and provides a consistent stream of power for maximum productivity. Other air compressors can cause discomfort because they lack balance, and their exposed motor and components make them difficult to carry. But the CET4-20 is comfortable to use, because it features vertically angled tanks that are ergonomically balanced. And because this compressor stays close to your body, it provides a natural center of gravity. Additionally, the roll cage and recessed, easy-access control panel protect you from exposure to the regulator, gauges, coupler, and drain valve. Unlike large wheeled compressors that hold the majority of their weight in front, the CET4-20 is balanced, measuring 7.75 x 19.75 x 16.25 inches (WxHxL) and weighing 72.7 pounds. It's compact, lightweight, and even enough for effortless movement around the jobsite. To ensure that the tanks drain properly, and to prevent a decrease in compression that can cause a decrease in productivity and performance, the CET4-20 boasts Bosch's "EZ Drain" system. First, the tanks are slightly angled to allow water to collect at their bottoms. Second, the drain system is connected to both tanks to allow for easier draining. Finally, with pressure in the tanks, you can simultaneously drain them both by turning the ball valve located in the control panel. The CSA-certified CET4-20 owes its reliable performance to a powerful two-horsepower, two-pole induction motor. The motor provides a dbA of 80, giving you quiet operation and keeping you free of distraction, especially when you're working close to the compressor. Many air compressors have exposed components that are unprotected from harsh jobsite conditions--but not the CET4-20.
